Loving your HTC Dot View case, but also wanting to jazz it up a bit? Use its app to personalize what you see through the case. You can install the HTC Dot View app, available in Google Play. If you already have the app, be sure to download the latest update.
To customize your wallpaper, you can choose a preset wallpaper, or create your own dotted wallpaper from a photo.

1. In the HTC Dot View app, tap Theme.
2. To create your own wallpaper, tap +, and then choose whether to use an existing photo from Gallery or take a new photo.
3. If you selected or taken a photo, crop the photo, and then tap Done.
4. Tap Apply.

For best results when creating your own wallpaper, use a simple image with distinct colors between the subject and background. For example, you can use this Android image that shows a high-contrast subject on a simple background, while also showing off some HTC pride.

Reno’s a self taught mixed media painter who has been drawing since the age of 5. He lives and works in his home studio in Portland, Oregon. Using acrylic paint, oil pastels and pencil, he opts to work almost exclusively with his hands as brushes. Reno describes his work as “Contemporary Primitive Abstract Narrative” and has exhibited throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
